In Harmony With Menopause

My Menopause journey

For the last 8 years, I've been on a journey into all things Perimenopause and Menopause. I'm feeling good and am emerging with a new sense of purpose, self-compassion, and insight, but boy would it have been good to have one sensible place to come for information. Like a well informed friend, or big sister who could have helped me along the way. Personally, I found the messaging to be generally quite negative, the guidance to be conflicting, and the press to be filled with horror stories from people experiencing horrendous symptoms and feeling like the vital and fun part of their lives were over.

I was looking for examples of women who were thriving throughout this journey and emerging feeling better than before.  I found what I was looking for, but it involved copious amounts of learning, reading, researching, and trial and error.  I've been my own menoproject!

I'm now pulling together a menopause resource, a toolkit if you will, that can help women understand what is going on with their body and mind, what symptoms they might experience and provide some practical tools, techniques, lifestyle and nutrition supports to help make the menopause transition what it should be, a natural part of life. I also want to help women to feel confident to have informed discussions with their healthcare providers.

Thank you to those of you who have completed my survey. It's going to help tailor and inform the content and format of the upcoming programme.
